Vintage Oval Spider Coffee Table in the style of Gio Ponti, c. 1960s
This 1960s Mid-Century Modern Spider coffee table with mahogany base is often attributed to both Gio Ponti and Carlo de Carli. The 5/8" thick oval glass top measures 52" in length by 25.5". The mahogany base with brass sabots collapses down for easy storage or transit. If you prefer for the sabots to be polished, our Connecticut workroom will see to that before shipping. This piece was designed in a time frame when biomorphism was running rampant in the design world.
