Pedestal Dining Table by Burke

If any single design from the Mid-Century movement could be used as an icon, it could without a doubt be Eero Saarinen's Pedestal Collection. Saarinen wished to eliminate messy clutter under tables and chairs caused by needless legs. Instead he used a single leg, his Pedestal, to create a collection of furniture only Eero Saarinen could produce. It is so popular that even those who designed after his work became very well known such as the company Burke, their Tulip furniture is widely known and quite ubiquitous. This petite table is from Burke's Collection.

This Burke table has been restored with a durable powder coated finish on its cast aluminum base. The table wields the same Saarinen timelessness sought after by many in their interiors. The size is quite special as it is very adaptable. Whether it serves as a kitchen table, the center of a breakfast nook, or a welcoming surface in a foyer; it is sure to exist with ease. Shown here with a black base. Only white base available.
