1950s Baker Tuxedo-Style Black Shearling Settee

Reupholstered in our Connecticut workroom this classic designed sofa from a Greenwich, Connecticut estate has an updated look. "P" roll arms replaced with a more modern look, rolled cotton was removed creating a more angular impression, the legs were ebonized and the skirt was removed. The settee has a Lawson tight back with coiled spring construction. Baker's approach to modernism is evident in the simple design and superior workmanship of the piece. Vintage Baker - you can't do better.
